Aerospace Engineering

Professor Jungpyo Lee has been an Adjunct Professor in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Brasilia since 2015. He has experience in Aerospace Engineering, and current research topics for rocket propulsion are combustion characteristics for hybrid rockets, rocket combustion instability, two-phase flow analysis for paraffin-based fuels, performance prediction, and design/manufacture/launch of a hybrid system rocket. He has carried out many rocket firing tests (up to 50 KN) and developed a sounding rocket that had a target altitude of 15 km with a thrust level of 10 KN. He has contributed to the exchange of rocket technology and space industries between Brazil and South Korea. He has been president of the Brazilian Association of Korean University Professors (ABPUC) since 2023.
